Maintenance and Care

Avoid autoclaving and heating at temperatures >50 °C, as this may warp the MPX.

Cleaning with Detergent

Clean the MPX System with a mild detergent, then use a methanol rinse to remove any leftover dye. Air dry after each use.

Removing IRDye® Residue

If the MPX becomes contaminated with IRDye that does not wash off with detergent, clean thoroughly with a 100% solution of methanol at room temperature.

The MPX should NEVER be rinsed with acetone or chloroform.
