Antibody Validation Library
The Antibody Validation Library is a collection of all your Antibody Validations.
When you create an Antibody Validation, two things happen:
- The Antibody Validation is saved to the Antibody Validation Library.
- The Project where the Antibody Validation was created is linked to the Antibody Validation in the Antibody Validation Library.
You can add a link to an Antibody Validation in more than one Project, but be careful to only link the Antibody Validation to Projects where the Validation is applicable.
View Antibody Validation Library
On the left panel, click the Antibody Validation Library option . This will display the Antibody Validations.
When to Link an Antibody Validation to a Different Project
Let's say you are analyzing the effects of different drug treatments using the same cell line under the same conditions for each drug. You may want to use a different Project for each drug, and you may want to link to the same Antibody Validation in each Project.
Do not reuse an Antibody Validation from one experimental context in a different experimental context.
Link an Antibody Validation
Antibody Validations are automatically linked to the Project where they are created. If you want to include an Antibody Validation in a different Project, create a link to the Antibody Validation in the new Project.
On the Home page , switch to the Project where you want to include the Antibody Validation.
In the Action list, click Link Antibody Validation.
In the Link Antibody Validation dialog, select the Antibody Validation you want to link and click Link.
Use the search option above the table to help find the Antibody Validation you want.
Unlink Antibody Validation from Project
If you no longer want a particular Antibody Validation in one of your Projects, unlink it.
Open the Project you want to remove the Antibody Validation from.
Click the Unlink action next to the Antibody Validation in the Experiment List.
The Antibody Validation will be unlinked from the Project, but it will still be available in the Antibody Validation Library.
Remove an Antibody Validation
If you no longer want an Antibody Validation in the Antibody Validation Library, move it to the Recycle Project.
Unlink the Antibody Validation from all Projects where it is linked.
Click the Antibody Validation Library option on the left side panel to open the Antibody Validation Library.
Click the Recycle action next to the Antibody Validation in the Antibody Validation list.
The Antibody Validation will be removed from the Antibody Validation Library and put in the Recycle Project.
The Antibody Validation will not be deleted from your hard drive.
Restore a Recycled Antibody Validation
Restore a recycled Antibody Validation to the Antibody Validation Library.
Open the Recycle Project by clicking Recycle in the lower left of the Empiria Studio window.
Click the Restore action next to the Antibody Validation you want to restore.
The Antibody Validation will be available in the Antibody Validation Library again.
