beta-Actin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

β-Actin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody for Normalization

beta-Actin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody

The β-actin primary antibody can be used as an internal loading control (ILC) for normalization.

The expression of β-actin, or any housekeeping protein (HKP), should be validated to ensure that its expression does not change under experimental conditions.

Once validated, β-actin primary antibodies can be used for the detection of β-actin when performing two-color detection.

Detect β-Actin Rabbit Primary Antibody with IRDye® Goat anti-Rabbit or IRDye Donkey anti-Rabbit secondary antibodies.

When using an HKP as an ILC for normalization, it’s important to validate the HKP for each experiment to ensure its expression is stable.

Many factors can influence expression including tissue, treatment, and cell density.
